I saw a joke on Twitter one time that was like “Kanye West one day won’t even release any music, he will tell his fans to imagine the music and they’ll be dumb enough to say ‘yeah I think I can hear it.November marks the 10th anniversary of what many consider to be Kanye West’s magnum opus and the greatest hip-hop album ever produced - “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” (MBDTF). Good God, I had to take a shower after trying to listen to it because it made me feel like I cheated on rap with whatever bullshit that was.ĭelusional Kanye West fans make me laugh man. KSG was absolutely awful, in one song I sweatergod that they were just making noises like cavemen and trying to pass it as music.
Maybe I am not hip anymore, I do listen to the new wave of artists in Rap like Lil Uzi Vert, Polo G, Pop Smoke, SOB x RBE, Denzel Curry, etc. Yeezus? Come on, the only song that was somewhat listenable was Blood On The Leaves. That’s about, what 30% of the album? The rest left much to be desired, get real. Father Stretch My Hands Part 1 and 2 were good songs, Waves, Famous, and Ultralight Beam were great. It does have some bops on there, but nothing I would lay my life down for. TLOP wasn’t bad per se, but I wouldn’t say it was good. Some disagreed with that being the last time he was good, using TLOP (The Life of Pablo), Yeezus, or even KSG (Kids See Ghosts). Too bad, that is the last good COMPLETE album we got from Ye. The name is very fitting, it’s beautiful, dark, and slightly twisted but such a stupendous album. Now THAT album is a work of fucking art, it is essentially a masterpiece of Rap music. Kanye hasn’t been good since MBDTF (My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy).
